Sold in 10-packs. Stack-on expander that builds our hinge plate mount assembly to a total thickness of 1-1/4" (31.75mm). Can also continue to stack these adding 1/2" to the hinge plate mounts each time.  Use when your cabinet side or bulkhead is set back 1-1/4" behind the face frame. Requires the 1/4" Base Mounting Block AND the 3/4" Expander (both sold separately).

FULL DESCRIPTION:

Part of our modular hinge plate mounting system for inset cabinet doors. This stack-on expander snaps onto the back of the 3/4" Expander to build the total assembly thickness up to 1-1/4" (31.75mm) — the right size when your cabinet side or bulkhead is set back 1-1/4" behind the face frame.

The full stack for 1-1/4": 1/4" Base Mounting Block + 3/4" Expander + 1-1/4" Expander.

No gluing up custom blocks. No measuring and shimming. Snap the stack together, mount the assembly, install your Blum or Titus long arm hinge plate to the front face of the base.

Required base parts:

This expander does not work on its own. To get to 1-1/4" total thickness, you need all three pieces stacked:

1. 1/4" Inset Hinge Plate Mounting Block (base — the part the hinge plate mounts to)
2. 3/4" Hinge Plate Mount Expander (middle layer)
3. This 1-1/4" expander (back layer)

Installation:

Snap the 3/4" expander onto the back of the 1/4" base block. Then snap this 1-1/4" expander onto the back of the 3/4" expander. Position the full stacked assembly on the cabinet side or bulkhead directly behind the face frame opening. Secure with wood screws through the stack into the cabinet side. Mount your Blum or Titus long arm hinge plate to the front face of the base block using the standard hinge plate screws.
